How to improve eyesight through proper diet

Specific to run correctly. A balanced diet along with a number of useful techniques to improve the view can be helpful.

To sharpen the vision, it's good to incorporate antioxidants like beta carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin that help protect the macula (a part of the retina) the harm of sun exposure. To protect that area, nutrients also act against aging macular a major cause of blindness. Some of the foods that contain antioxidants are berries, green leafy vegetables, egg yolks, yellow peppers, carrots and pumpkins.

Another nutrient that strengthens the internal structures of the eye is docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), a fatty acid found in cold water fish such as wild salmon, herring and cod. The intake of dietary supplements such as cod liver oil strengthen cell membranes that provide structural support to the eyes.

Finally, the water not only helps clean the whole body but also prevents dehydration and thus protects the eyes from dryness.

The inclusion of these nutrients in the diet and the daily practice of exercises that help sight longer abandon fixed positions, such as gentle massage on the eyelids and temples, affect the proper functioning of vision. Also, do not forget that the body needs 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night, not only for the rest of the eye but for the recovery of the whole organism.
